Matti Varga
Matti Varga has discovered the potential of artistic expression in photography at a fairly young age.
Her photographs are dream-like and are often drenched in nostalgia. Matti is able to observe everyday moments from an entirely new perspective and to present them unconventionally by taking them out of their context. At the same time, she devotes a lot of attention to creating accurate compositions and to choosing colours and light very carefully.
In the past few years her work has been recognised worldwide numerous times. Thanks to the new releases her artworks can be seen in various photo-books, magazines, publications and art exhibitions.
Recently, she also co-founded Souvenir and Coffee in Budapest, a design- and fashion-focused souvenir store that also offers speciality take-away coffee, where she continues to shape its artistic and creative direction.
