Kamilla Hu-Yang

Graphic artist Kamilla Hu-Yang was studying communication design at the Glasgow School of Art and currently lives in Budapest. Her philosophically sensitive work combines formal experimentation with personal narratives. The first pieces of her Blue series were created during the COVID pandemic, and the series has been expanding ever since. The elements of Kamilla’s symbolic system (spaces, stairs, doors, and the use of the color blue) never serve to depict a specific physical space, but rather to be interpreted as symbols of interpersonal and intrapersonal states, situations, and relationships.
