Juli Tudisco
Juli Tudisco is a half-Hungarian, half-Italian animation director and illustrator, and the proud human of two wonderful cats. She studied animation at MOME, where she completed her MA with her diploma film Children of the Bird, which went on to screen at several international festivals and receive multiple awards. She is currently developing her animated series Tulip, which follows a young woman as she tries to make sense of her tangled emotions with the support of her friends, lots of gentleness, and a touch of cat energy. Juli’s work blends personal storytelling, posthumanist ideas, mindfulness, the small surprises of nature, and the world of dogs, cats, and other animals. Her illustrations often evoke the quiet calm of an inner world. She draws inspiration from mythology, folklore, naïve art, children’s drawings, and everything that feels pure and honest.
